About

This is the age of people’s empowerment. Uprising of alternative creatives, alternative communities, alternative realities. No one collection is a brand that aims to celebrate that cultural shift’s spark and gives fashion tools to physically embrace that movement.

Based in London, this conceptual fashion designer creates in their atelier made-to-order unique clothing on the principle of up-cycling, ethical sourcing and transparency. Because they believe bodies can’t be fit in a box, most of the collection is semi-tailored to the client’s body shape to ensure the best fit and inclusivity of the brand.

The company’s DNA lies in creating playful fashion for frontrunners that like to stand outside of the box, bring new perspectives and know that the future is about abandoning large-scale problematic companies for innovative independent craftsmen.

Support that revolution and a creative life by buying our unique designer pieces.

Pricing policy:

No One Collection is an inclusive fashion brand relying on solidarity to propose their product to people from every economic background while still sustaining this young business.

Every sale, no matter which option is selected is a precious contribution to the development of the brand. You can choose how much you are giving to the brand depending on your financial situation with our 3 different pricing options:

  • Low-income: this price has been narrowed down to its minimum by financing the designer to the London Living wage
  • Mid-range: this price allow the designer to be paid its desired wage
  • Supportive: this price allows the designer to be paid its desired wage and to make 25% of benefit to reinvest in the business

Collection transparency report:

Created after a MA degree studying politics, sustainability and ethics within the fashion industry, numerous were the designer’s findings, debunking status quos around those new models of fashion making.

One of the main findings driven by that experience was the evidence that no solutions were perfect and that no fashion brand could claim to be 100% sustainable. However, what we could do is offering to our consumers the education and transparency for them to make empowered choices on their consumption.

If this collection has flaws and isn’t 100% sustainable, it aims to stand by those values and propose new social, political and ecological models to create a better fashion industry.

Here is the main information, follow up by the product sourcing list, for you to do the educated choice of buying No One Collection.

Sustainability:

This collection is composed of 9 products from whom 50% of it were made with dead stock or up-cycled products gathered from the designer’s 5 years of fashion education. The 50% left are new materials composed of 80% ethically-sourced natural fabric bought in London and 20% haberdashery and technical fabric that could not be traced.

0,8 kg of calico, 0,8 kg of mixed fabric and 2 kg of latex were wasted during the preconception stage of this collection. No One Collection aims to recycle all those materials down the line.

The rest the materials and fabric left over from the collection will be used in the creation of a unique retail piece available on our shop.

Here is a rough table char of the collection sourcing showcasing the origin and prices of the raw material that are composing our garment:

Ethics:

£4000 were spent on the creation of this brand, used essentially on the garments development and the photoshoot to sell it. 50% of it was financed through familial support and the other 50% was from diverse freelance and hospitality work.

As well to those diverse jobs, this project was developed on the side of 2 internships where 552 free hours of work were invested by the designer to continue growing their skillset.

£2000 were spent on the launching campaign to pay photographers, models and make-up artists, ploughing the money straight back into the London independent creative community.

3 unpaid workers offered their help in the development of No One Collection: Pierre Schaller, Pewand Shams and Mélisa Vincent, respectively doing the website and consultancy, brand identity and stylist assistant on the shoot. All those workers have on their side study financial resources and careers to rely on.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, a lot of collective effort and funding was put into this project to propose an ethical and creative alternative to the mainstream fashion that impoverishes our lands and communities. Here is an opportunity for you to change that paradigm by supporting your local creative and allowing us all to build an empowering and richer future.

Gratitude:

Creating that brand and this made-to-order first collection has been my biggest work achieved so far, demanding a huge amount of time, money and effort. It would not have been possible thanks to a number of people without whom this piece of work won’t be existing today.

I would like to express my gratitude to those who stand by me in these unique times:

To my parents, for the support and commitment they have been giving me restlessly throughout this project and for the unlimited trust they have been showing in regard to my craft and achievement.

To Caterina Schmitt that pushed me to launch my own collection and saw in my work the strength and potential to start curving my own path.

To Marvin M’Toumo who inspired me from their own successful independent path. Nourishing me through their beliefs, guidance and precious donation that allow this project to gain its full scale.

To Pewand Shams that offer his help and support in crafting my brand identity and allowing me to think bigger and push this brand to a level, I am proud of today.

To the independent creators, involved in the collection’s photoshoot that believed in my project and let me borrow their pieces to style my looks and helped me create the most ambitious photoshoot I have yet achieved.

And finally, to the London alternative scene that inspired this project, lit up that spark and allow me to dream of a new paradigm. Together, we can do it.
